Last updated 2026 · BYAJ VENTURES LLC

BYAJ VENTURES LLC (“we”) operates Private Family Archive and this website. This policy explains what information we collect through the site and how we use it. It does not cover the family archive software itself once it’s deployed — that runs on your own server and we don’t have access to your family content (see “Your archive content” below).

What we collect

  • When you buy: your email, the family/customer name, the domain you intend to use, and any server notes you provide.
  • Payment: payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card details — Stripe does. We retain an order record (email, domain, amount, and your acceptance of the refund/license terms with timestamps).
  • When you request a live demo: your name, email, family name, any message, and an anti-abuse check (Cloudflare Turnstile), which may process your IP address.
  • Standard server logs (e.g. IP address, request time) for security and reliability.

How we use it

  • to deploy and fulfill your purchase and provide support;
  • to send your receipt, demo link, and order-related messages;
  • to keep records of your purchase and policy acceptance (for fulfillment, accounting, and dispute resolution);
  • to prevent abuse and keep the site secure; and to comply with law.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers to run the business — notably Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (anti-abuse / DNS), and our hosting provider. They process data only to provide their service to us. We do not sell your personal information.

Your archive content

Your family’s photos, stories, recipes, documents, voices, names, and dates live in the software on your own server, not ours. We don’t collect, store, or have access to that content. It belongs to you.

Retention

We keep order and acceptance records for as long as needed for support, accounting, tax, and legal purposes. Demo-request details are kept only as long as needed to run and follow up on the demo.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you (subject to records we must keep for legal/accounting reasons) by emailing support@privatefamilyarchive.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the CCPA/CPRA or GDPR.

Security & changes

We take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold. No method is perfectly secure. We may update this policy; the “last updated” date above reflects the current version.
